Overview

From a rough idea to a store that is ready for its first real order. Work through the available text lessons at your own pace. The curriculum below shows what you can read now and what is still in preparation.

Who this path is for

First-time merchants and social sellers moving to an organized store.

Learning outcomes

  • A clear statement of what you sell and to whom.
  • An organized product catalog ready to upload.
  • Published delivery, returns, and payment information.
  • A completed launch-readiness review.

Curriculum

  1. Lesson 1 โ€” Clarifying your offer

What you sell, to whom, and why you

Before themes, logos, or domains, write three sentences: what you sell, who buys it, and why they should buy it from you. 'Abaya sets for working women in Amman who want quality without mall prices' is a launchable offer. 'Clothes for everyone' is not.

Test the sentence on five people in your target audience. If they cannot repeat back who the store is for, sharpen it before spending anything else.

    Exercise

Write your three sentences. Then cross out every word that does not change the meaning โ€” what remains is your store description.

  2. Lesson 2 โ€” Organizing product information

    The product record

Every product needs one complete record: name, price in JOD, variants with stock, three photos, and a two-sentence description. Build it in a spreadsheet before touching any store builder โ€” the spreadsheet survives platform changes.

    • Name, the way customers say it.
    • Final price in JOD including extras.
    • Variants and per-variant stock.
    • Three daylight photos, one showing scale.

    Exercise

Complete full records for your five best products today. Five complete records beat twenty partial ones.
